![]() ![]() ![]() We tipped the driver because the trolley over heating wasn't his fault and hoped that he would hurry and grab the other trolley sitting in the parking lot about 50 yards away. Then finally we make it back to the meeting point where everyone else just drove but we still needed a ride back to our hotel. He decided to just drive the trolley back and said "if it explodes, then it explodes". Awful communication the driver didn't even care that we were all standing out in the heat. Fast forward to 20 minutes later he's on the phone with his boss and tells us his boss hasn't even left yet. The driver told us at our second winery stop that the trolley was over heating and that his boss would be there in a few minutes to pick us up in a different vehicle. All of that isn't awful, it was uncomfortable but it got worse. The trolley itself was so hot with no A/C and windows that wouldn't stay open. The driver also hit a rock and dented the trolley in and was trying to fix it in front of the country club where we had lunch. He also would turn around to listen to people talking and took his eyes off the road for almost a minute. The driver told us he normally doesn't drive the trolley and proceeded to be on the phone most of the time he was driving. We paid $70 a person and $20 for transit to and from our hotel which was only 5 minutes from the drop off spot. We did a wine tasting trolley tour with a bachelorette party. We all rolled with it at the time, but I thought as the driver of the bus, there should have been significantly more professionalism. I could tell this made a few from our group uncomfortable.Īt one point a woman from our group was dancing to a song that was on to which the driver said, "Sorry, I didn't bring any $1s to throw at you" after earlier making a separate comment about how a different woman from our group would've been "too blonde" to drive the bus. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but considering the pandemic, there was no room for social distancing whatsoever the bus was completely full. They also combined the “Wine Tour Express” and “Full Winery Experience” patrons from that day on one bus instead of two, resulting in it being significantly more snug onboard. They never informed any of us that the itinerary changed, just dropped us off at Broken Bottle Winery instead. ![]() ![]() “Wine tastings at the Fawn Creek and Baraboo Bluff Wineries” → We never visited Baraboo Bluff Winery, which was the whole reason our entire group booked this tour in the first place. Instead, we were given access to a bluetooth speaker for playing music. “A scenic drive with lightly narrated with humor and facts about the area on our way through the Wisconsin Woods to the wineries” → This did not happen. Though our group, very laid back and “go with the flow”, was able to have a good time regardless, I wanted to point out a few differences between what is promised on their website and ticket confirmations that never actually happened, and some other moments from the tour that caught me off-guard: I wouldn’t recommend this tour again, however I would recommend the first Mexican restaurant we went to because they were on point and the staff was amazing! Personally the pick up and drop off location at Bobbers Island Grille is well worth the stop and overall our trolley party all agreed that we would’ve rathered just stayed there and partied the night away.Ī group of 8 girlfriends and I did the “The Full Winery Experience (Lunch Included)” tour on March 6th, 2021. After sitting there for 30 minutes our trolley came back and while we were walking out the door the staff then tried to pour Margarita drinks into a cup for all of us, so pretty much we got nothing on the last stop. We sat at the restaurant for 30 minutes waiting for the staff to figure out what they were supposed to be giving us so clearly there was a miscommunication between the trolley service and restaurant because nobody in the restaurant understood what we meant when we said we were apart of the Margarita tour. The staff was great at the second stop but the drinks had too much syrup in them so no one really drank theirs, then the last stop had no clue why we were even there. The first restaurant we went to for the Margarita tour was amazing and from then on the tour went downhill. ![]()
